STEP 02

Enable the app embed

Flip on the Cart Reserve embed in your theme and Save. This activates the storefront timer — it shows up in your cart automatically, with no theme code.

FIND ITOnline Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds → Cart Reserve → Save
STEP 03

Then add a checkout rule

Holds the reservation through to payment. Without it, reservations aren't held.

FIND ITSettings → Checkout → Checkout rules → Add rule → Active

STEP 04

Set your hold timer

Use the Session Timer slider to choose how long a cart holds stock — anywhere from 5 to 60 minutes. Turn on Allow Timer Extension so shoppers who need more time can add it.

STEP 05 · CATALOG

Import your products

From the Cart Reserve Settings, hit Import Products. We sync your Shopify catalog so the app can track reservations for every variant — runs once, takes seconds.

STEP 06 · LIMITS

Add a product and set a per-cart limit

Open Product Limits, click + Add Products, pick the drop SKUs, set the per-cart cap to whatever fits — use 1 for the strict last-unit-per-shopper rule, or any higher number for bundles. Save and it's live.

STEP 08 · LIVE

Protect your products & go live

Add the products you want to protect, hit Enable, and set Max per session. Use 1 to hold just the last available unit per shopper. Then run your next drop — stock holds the moment a shopper adds to cart.
